W.I.P. - Commission Work

I am working on a commission piece titled " Crucified Barbie". The buyer who purchased Resurrection Barbie wanted a piece to accompany her on the wall. She has been wrapped in newspaper and then cheese cloth dipped in Paverpol. Paverpol dries to a rock hard state. Next phase will be wire wrapping and shaping the form with Apoxie Sculpt. The final phase will be to put nails in the hands and feet. Maybe a crown of thorns on her head. Stay tuned!!

Barbie should be a LITTLE punished for making girls have unrealistic expectations of how they should look.

Barb - I have 'til the end of April, but I don't intend to drag it out that long!!

Sycamore Moon Studios - That's why we should buy our girls Barbies and then set them up with all kinds of art supplies and let them create their own Barbie dolls. That way they don't have to settle for what is on the store shelves!!

T's - Thanks for stopping in for a peak!!
